Oompah music! Here we come!

This is now an annual trip! First of the season! A one nighter in Leavenworth, WA. What was going to be 3-4 riders turned into 11! We all left on Saturday morning and weather was decent. A little wet and cold to begin with but we never really hit much rain. We traveled through the Cascades and stopped at the summit to play in the snow. We had lunch in Winthrop and arrived in Leavenworth around 5pm. Dinner was at King Ludwigs where we had a fine German Feast and danced to Oompa Music! The next morning we headed home back the way we came. One snag though… On Hwy 97 north of Wenatchee the state patrol saw an opportunity to pull over 10 motorcyclists for 5mph bullshit tickets. $93 each. C’est la vie! It still didn’t dampen our spirits from the great overnighter ride we had.
