Stephen and I decided to take one last trip of the 2008 season. We had three days and alot of ground to cover. We had no route planned but a few ideas for roads to hit up. The best road was Chewelah, WA to Usk, WA and the farthest we made it was Orofino, ID. Pretty close to Lolo Pass!

The best story of the trip was in Chewelah, WA. When we arrived in town we asked where the best place to eat was. The best place was a seedy bar in town because it has a five star chef. When we arrived we asked about it and sure enough there was a five star menu attached the normal pub fare menu. Apparently the chef was a cook for the four seasons hotel in Hawaii. Ended up in a nasty divorce and had to leave the island! Not sure how he ended up in Chewelah but it was a fantastic meal!

In the end it was a great trip and exactly what we wanted.
